My beloved pet dog, a stray breed, was saved from the streets — he was the first rescue that inspired the concept of a rescue center. Witnessing a heart-wrenching accident where a mother dog tragically passed away, leaving behind her vulnerable puppies, deeply touched my heart. I brought both puppies to my place, ensuring they received the necessary care.After much persuasion, my family finally agreed to let me keep him, and Sheru quickly became a cherished member of our family. This experience opened my eyes to the fact that Sheru was just one of countless dogs enduring daily hardships — and motivated me to establish Saahas for Animals.I am fully committed to Saahas and will always uphold our values and ethics. Saahas is a cause that resonates with all of us, and I feel privileged to facilitate assistance between caring individuals and animals in need. Let's work together to make a positive impact and build a brighter future!

What we did?

As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, we had the opportunity to support Saahas for Animals, a Pune-based NGO dedicated to improving the lives of stray, injured, abandoned, and vulnerable animals.Saahas works tirelessly to rescue animals in distress, provide medical treatment and surgeries, conduct vaccination and feeding drives, rehabilitate rescued animals, and help them find loving homes through adoption. The organization also conducts community outreach and awareness programs to encourage compassion, responsible animal care, and a more humane relationship between people and animals.Through our CSR activity, we extended our support to Saahas and contributed towards their ongoing animal welfare efforts. Our contribution aims to help the organization continue providing essential food, shelter, medical care, rehabilitation, and protection to animals in need.At Swid, we believe that social responsibility extends to every living being that shares our community. Supporting Saahas gave us an opportunity to contribute to a cause built on compassion, care, and responsibility. Through initiatives like this, we remain committed to supporting organizations that create meaningful and lasting positive change in society.
